National Compadres Network
The National Compadres Network (NCN) is a 501 c-3 nonprofit organization founded in 1988. Today built on over 30 years of service, NCN is a national voice for racial equity, racial healing, training, technical assistance, system change, and culture-infused efforts to create change that is transformational. It brings together culturally rooted, nationally recognized leaders in the fields of health,
Healing takes many forms.
This men’s healing circle from Englewood, a suburb of Denver, CO, brought their medicine through art and story. They shared not only their own healing journeys but also a vision of hope for their families and community.
Healing doesn’t always begin with words. Sometimes it begins with a photograph, a conversation, a shared story, or the courage to come together.
We need more spaces like this where people can learn from one another, lift one another up, and model healing for the generations coming behind us.
When one person heals, a family begins to heal. When families heal, communities grow stronger.
When you heal, we all heal.
