Before you sign those divorce papers…

Before you move in with him.

Before you sign that lease.

Before you quit that job.

Before you jump into that relationship because you think, “God told me…”

Slow down.

Can I lovingly challenge you for a second?

Are you actually hearing from God… or are you hearing what your flesh wanted all along?

I’m not pointing fingers because I’ve had seasons where I was convinced God was leading me somewhere, and with time He showed me it wasn’t His voice. It was mine.

We spend so much time asking God for answers, but how many of us are actually praying for discernment?

Your feelings can be loud. Your loneliness can be loud. Social media can be loud. The people around you can be loud.

But none of those voices are the Holy Spirit.

Don’t put God’s name on a decision He never made.

I’m praying this lands exactly where God wants it to. If this steps on your toes, don’t run from the conviction. Lean into it. It might just save you from a decision you’ll spend years trying to undo.
