Bellefonte is closing their Brandywine location at the end of the month. They’re consolidating their operations to their location off Newport Road.

Met up with .beers.usa at Revelation Georgetown a couple days ago. These guys are locals who are documenting a cross country journey to try as many Craft Breweries as possible! They are currently at 970 locations, just 30 shy of one thousand! Give these guys a follow and watch them as they hit the big milestone! Thanks for sharing Liberty Risk, we'll do a tasting of it soon.

Happy Monday! We are bummed we didn't make it out to any of the various beer festivals last month. But we will be at Analog this Saturday from 12PM-4PM. There will be many different beers and spirits to try. Dogfish always does a great job with these types of events. There will also be various merchants selling crafts, art, and vinyl records, to name a few. There will be a few food vendors, too. There still may be some tickets left if you wanna join in on the fun. Let us know if you'll be there. We'd love to meet up.

302 Brewview got together this past weekend for a couple of drinks. First up, L'Allegro, a Belgian Strong Golden Ale from Dogfish with Pink Peppercorns, this one was okay. A little too peppery for my liking.

Next, Beer Can Chicken, brewed by Torch and Crown from NYC in collaboration with Perdue Farms. This Summer Ale was better than I was anticipating. Containing honey, lemon and orange puree, citra hops, rosemary, thyme, sea salt, and pink peppercorn. This one was very citrusy and refreshing and apparently really good to use for beer can chicken.

Lastly, something we've been saving for a long time. Beach Juice. Our last 3rd Wave Brew. It was tasty and just beginning to lose its luster. But it held its flavor for a long time. A farewell to one of our favorite breweries that we miss dearly.

Yesterday after work, I was able to stop in at Big Oyster Brewery in Lewes. Our friends at Porch Beers USA collabed with Big Oyster Brewery, and the USS Delaware Submarine Association to create Liberty Risk. Liberty Risk is a nod to the sailors of the USS Delaware SSN 791. This beer is a beautiful collision of an IPA and a Lager. It has an amazing citrusy hop flavor with the clean smooth taste of a lager. At 5% ABV, you can crush a few of these. Be sure to keep an eye out for it if you're in the area, it's only on draft at the brewery.

Went to Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, DE, yesterday for their Vintage and Vinyl event. Every first Thursday of the month from 4:30-6:30PM, they'll pull out vintage bottles and pour flights of them. It's a convenient and affordable way to try some classic dogfish they don't make anymore! Not to mention they're spinning vinyls too. Old school music and old school brews.
