When the window was noticed being taped at the window locks and the upper sash could not latch with the window lock on the bottom sash it was observed that the upper sash was not properly cut to fit while being repaired (you can see the original stiles on both sides of the upper sash being too short). Had a client question me why the built-in LED light bulb kept getting blown inside their ceiling fan for the third time. Checked around and saw this dimmer switch… checked specifications online for the ceiling fan with built-in LED light and it stated that it wasn’t compatible with dimmer switches. Check to ensure all LED/CFL fixtures/bulbs are compatible with a dimmer switch before installing one. Some have a symbol on the case indicating it is/isn’t compatible with dimmer switches.
