☀️ Summer is underway at CHISPA! In partnership with North Monterey County Unified School District, we are proud to offer free daily summer meals for children and teens ages 0–18 at El Cerrito, Moro Lindo, and Sea Garden Apartments in Castroville. No registration required.

We are proud to help ensure local children and youth have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer while school is out. 🍎🥪

What an incredible afternoon at SASSO (Salinas Seniors Social Outreach) at Los Abuelitos Senior Apartments! The room was filled to capacity with seniors enjoying a delicious lunch, live music, dancing, valuable community resources, and great company.

A special thank you to Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley for organizing and leading this wonderful monthly event, and to CHISPA for proudly hosting SASSO at Los Abuelitos. We are grateful for this partnership that brings seniors together for connection, wellness, and fun.

Thank you to our featured community resource partner, Central Coast Center for Independent Living (CCCIL), for sharing valuable information and services that help seniors maintain their independence and quality of life.

We would also like to thank the Monterey County Food Bank for providing fresh produce boxes for participants and supporting the health and well-being of our senior community.

Events like SASSO remind us of the importance of staying connected, active, and informed while building friendships and strengthening our community.
