The SHARE Center is a project of the City of Salinas, the County of Monterey, and BACS. We move people off the streets into temporary housing in Monterey County, where we support them with mental health, hygiene, physical health, and employment. What we do:
* Provide short-term housing to help people transition from encampments to permanent housing, with daily meals.

responds when Monterey County Supervisor Luis A. Alejo calls! was full of joy for these families - exiting homelessness thanks to BACS, community support, volunteers, and partnering landlords. We can end homelessness while celebrating and uplifting the people we serve!
Santa at SHARE Salinas Santa visited the SHARE Center in Salinas, which serves unhoused families. Santa’s team of elves received donated gifts and distributed gifts to all 65 adults and 35 children in attendance.
