The Emergency Conflagration Act has been invoked for the Rowe Creek Complex in Wheeler County. We've assigned four task forces to the incident along with our Green Incident Management Team.

On Thursday night, we assigned two task forces through Immediate Response. The complex consists of three fires: the Camel Hump, Crosswhite, and Redrock fires. Combined, they have burned over 15,000 acres and are threatening nearby communities. For evacuation information, please follow the Wheeler County Sheriff's Office.

Our team is working alongside our wildland partners to protect homes and critical infrastructure in the area.

At the request of Gilliam County, we are mobilizing structural resources through Immediate Response. This afternoon and evening has been extremely busy with numerous wildfires burning across the state. It has been very active in Central and North Central Oregon with several communities placed under evacuation notices.

Local sheriff's offices are in charge of issuing evacuation notices. Please pay close attention and follow them.

Our team and wildland partners have been working around the clock to respond to many large wildfires that have grown rapidly, pushed by gusty winds and dry conditions. Please, pay attention to the conditions and take the necessary steps to prevent sparking a human-caused fire.

We mobilized air resources and two structural protection task forces to this fire earlier this evening. The local fire agencies requested addition capacity. Please follow the Umatilla County Sheriff's Office for all evacuation information.

We have agreements in place with the Oregon Department of Forestry to mobilize aircraft to give local fire agencies a range of tools when responding to a wildfire.
