CivilScout.com is a website that allows law enforcement agencies (LEA) to solicit help from the public to locate stolen vehicles (wanted persons, missing persons, etc) by sending out alerts via text messages, emails, etc. to citizens who have signed up to receive the alerts. CivilScout.com also gives you access to a searchable database through tools like Plate Check and Hot Sheet.
As we move into the wet, and eventually colder weather, law enforcement will start getting calls routinely from people who were warming up their cars in their driveways. On average, two to three cars a day are stolen in Marion County. Don't be an easy target!
