As you know, ROCC is a small nonprofit, and when we reached out online for a moving quote, we asked if nonprofit discounts were available. Nadia got back to us quickly, gathered the details, and then let us know the owners were happy to support our cause by moving our Connex container free of charge.

The whole process was quick, easy, and stress free. The driver was kind, professional, and efficient, and everything was done in less than an hour.

We wish we had remembered to take a picture, but it all happened so smoothly that we completely forgot!

We are honored to share that our Executive Director, Alisha Smith, was recently featured by Oregon Voyager.

This article shares part of Alisha’s personal journey with Recovery Outreach Community Center, from first walking through ROCC’s doors during one of the hardest seasons of her life, to now helping lead the organization and create that same kind of safe, supportive space for others.

At ROCC, we believe people are more than their worst day. We believe healing is possible, recovery is personal, and community can change the direction of someone’s life.

Our work is built on lived experience, peer support, compassion, creativity, and connection. Every day, we see what can happen when someone is met with dignity instead of judgment and hope instead of shame.
