Producer-Members will strive to produce wines of merit that demonstrate the principles associated with the Deep Roots Coalition. These principles include reduced yields and adherence to one of several low-impact viticultural programs (LIVE, Organic, Bio Dynamic, Salmon-Safe, etc.). Producer-Members commit to educating the public with regard to responsible water management practices and sustainable farming. To this end, Members are encouraged to collect data and anecdotes on irrigated versus non-irrigated vineyards in order to facilitate a rational discussion on the issue of water use. Applicant Producer-Members must be approved by an eighty percent vote for acceptance by the General Membership of the Deep Roots Coalition. Current membership: (February 2014)
