had cancer. Many of us have lost loved ones to it. Some of us even have, or have had it. Did you know that Veterans have a much higher cancer rate than those who haven’t served? This has a lot to do with different exposures including airborne and burn pit and many others. Even worse- Did you know that Female Veterans are an even higher risk? Until recently there were not many resources for us to get medical care for issues that are military connected, such as reproductive cancers (including Breast cancer). As Veterans who is the last person you usually take care of? For me, it’s always been myself. It’s time to take care of yourselves and others by raising awareness and being part of the change to bring positive impact!
