In 2023, Ghost Medical partnered with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to create a 3D animation that visually demonstrates how a shear-thinning microgel is delivered into the left atrial appendage (LAA) via catheter. The gel conforms to patient-specific anatomy, transitions into a solid scaffold, and promotes native tissue overgrowth, offering a novel solution for stroke prevention in patients with atrial fibrillation.

In 2023, Ghost Medical partnered with Greenman LLC to develop an immersive VR simulation that helps patients understand the effects of astigmatism, presbyopia, and myopia. Users can explore different vision conditions and surgical outcomes using a customizable virtual interface.

This tool simplifies complex ophthalmologic education and enhances patient decision-making around intraocular lens (IOL) treatments including monofocal toric, multifocal, and extended depth of focus lenses.

Ghost Medical collaborated with Corvion to create a compelling medical animation that illustrates the Corvion LVAD— a fully implanted mechanical circulatory support device for severe heart failure.
