Today, we celebrate Olmstead Day and the progress made possible by the landmark Olmstead v. L.C. decision, which helped affirm the rights of people with disabilities to live, work, and be active members of their communities.
The Olmstead decision reinforced a simple but powerful belief, that people should have the freedom to choose where they live, build meaningful connections, and pursue what matters most to them with the supports they need.
At Accord, we remain committed to helping people pursue their goals, build connections, and live the lives they choose.
