If we already filed your 2025 property tax return, you do not need to do anything additional. The department plans to make these adjustments for you. I anticipate some delays this year.

If we have not filed your 2025 property tax return yet, we are going to wait for further guidance to avoid any delays in processing.

The Minnesota Department of Revenue is reviewing the tax bill that was passed by the Minnesota Legislature and recently signed into law by Governor Tim Walz.

Included in this bill is a one-time increase to 2025 Homestead Credit Refunds of nearly 15%.

The Minnesota Department of Revenue is analyzing this provision and is working to implement it as soon as possible. Further guidance will be provided!
