It is the final weekend of this year’s MNRF season. We want to thank all of our players and families for trusting us to stay safe while visiting the Board and the Big Wood.
We missed you all, and it was wonderful to see some new faces, too. We hope to have the Board open again next season, and wish you a very safe and healthy (and happy) year.

Yep, we saw it. It ain't over yet.

Yes, you should see it (and read the book)! Yes, you should dust off your old checkerboard. We have always known this game is for everyone, and anyone who wants to learn deserves to do so without discrimination or intimidation.

It's so rare when politics and chess meet up on conversation (/sarcasm). We aspire to be this patient when working with new players.
