We are currently seeking tutors for one-on-one tutoring sessions, which will follow the same 30-minute structured format used in our school year program.

Camp Schedule July 13th to August 6th:

Monday to Thursday:

- 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM

- 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM

Last week, Kao Kalia Young hosted an amazing workshop with East Side Learning Center! Kao is an award-winning author, speaker, writer, and educator. To a crowd of ESLC community members, she read passages from her children's books and spoke about the unique roots of children from refugee families. We were moved by Kao's personal stories and her advice for how educators and tutors can teach refugee children with respect for their experience. Thank you for your inspiring and powerful words, Kao!
