After much excellent advice in the stories, I have decided to enroll in with a Chaos Syllabus™. This means that I shall control for my mood reading by not assigning myself any commitments, thereby ensuring I shan't discourage myself from reading books I very much want to read. (It's like as soon as I identify the book I want to read, my brain goes "YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" I theorize this is some sort of residual aftermath of actual university.)

At the end of the semester, I shall retroactively create my syllabus from the historical romance books I actually read, in effect securing my triumph and conquering my own fickle nature!
