We come into this life believing the world is here to fulfill us, and quietly carry that belief far longer than we realize. As life unfolds, we see that no person, place, or moment can give us everything we seek, yet we still reach outward, hoping something will complete us. In that reaching, desire becomes self obsession, and our wants turn into silent demands. When life does not meet them, we feel it as resentment, anger, or fear. Resentment pulls us into the past, anger clouds the present, and fear keeps us bracing for the future. These patterns shape our suffering, with self obsession at the center of it all. The turning point is subtle but profound, when we stop asking life to complete us and begin to meet ourselves fully. In that space, something softens, something opens. The grip loosens, the noise quiets, and a deeper trust begins to emerge. And in that trust, we donβt just find peace, we remember we were never lacking to begin with.
