We had a special weekend honoring our Brennans fight against childhood cancer at the Nixon Strong tournament.
This was from her mom Teirsa Plum. No matter what the scoreboard said today, remember why we’re here. The Nixon Strong Tournament is about something bigger than wins and losses. It’s about honoring kids who would give anything to be out on that field playing the game they love.

Play hard. Cheer for each other. Shake off the mistakes. Smile, laugh, and make memories. Leave everything you have on the field, not because you have to win, but because you have the opportunity to play.

Some of the strongest fighters are watching from the dugout, the stands, hospital rooms, and heaven. So play for them. Have FUN for them. And never forget what a gift this game truly is.
