Want a free cactus? Your very own piece of Agave Jones? I’m enlisting you guys help in pruning my cactus back (or removing it honestly if someone wants the whole thing). 2nd pic is when I planted it in April of 2023. 3rd pic is how big it has gotten again after a huge chop last year. This guy grows so fast! I hand out cuttings of it all year long and it never runs out. So if you are in need of some cutie cinnamon ear cactus babies help yourself to a cutting! I highly suggest wearing gloves, using some tongs to handle the actual paddles with, a cardboard box to put it in, and if taking a larger cutting some gardening shears! Avoid touching the actual paddles because this beauty doesn’t have large spines on it, but it does have millions of tiny hair like needles that still will sting. It produces the most gorgeous yellow flowers and would be perfect for someone trying to grow a natural fence. I hardly ever water it — and yet it continues to grow and thrive! It’s the perfect low maintenance green friend! 🌼🌵🤎
