Sound is magical and energetic; however, many of the claims you'll see about sound baths are incorrect and unsupported by science.
My sound healing practitioner training is trauma-informed and provides details on the frameworks that shape belief systems on how sound works to "heal."
This is your LAST CHANGE to register! Saturday (6/20) is the Sound Healing Practitioner Training - not just for yoga teachers - for anyone interested in learning more about sound healing. Register now at radiantsoulguideyoga.com
This program is approved for Yoga Alliance & American Yoga Council CE credits.

What if your desires weren't distractions... but directions?
So many of us have been taught to question our desires, suppress them, or convince ourselves they're unrealistic. We tell ourselves to be practical, responsible, and grateful for what we already have.
But what if the things you long for are actually messages from your deepest self?
What if the desire for more freedom, more creativity, more connection, more rest, more purpose, or more joy isn't selfish at all?
What if it's your soul showing you the path home?
Instead of pushing those desires aside, get curious about them.
Sit with them.
Listen to them.
Let them have a voice.
They may be revealing what is ready to be healed, expanded, created, or reclaimed.
Your desires are not always asking you to have something. Sometimes they are asking you to become someone.
Today, give your desires a seat at the table.
Ask yourself:
What have I been longing for?
What keeps resurfacing no matter how much I ignore it?
If I trusted that desire, what would it be asking me to do next?
The deepest parts of us often whisper before they ever shout.
The question is: are you listening? ✨

Lately, Warrior I has taken on a completely different meaning for me.
There was a time when I measured this posture by how deep I could bend my knee, how square I could make my hips, or how long I could hold it. But healing has a way of changing your perspective.
Right now, Warrior I isn't about power. It's about presence.
It's about standing in uncertainty with an open heart.
It's about rooting down when my body feels different than it used to. It's about finding stability when the path forward isn't completely clear. It's about trusting that healing doesn't always look like pushing harder—it often looks like listening more deeply.
Warrior I asks us to ground through our foundation while reaching toward something greater. To be both strong and vulnerable. To stay committed without forcing.
In many ways, that's exactly where I am.
My body has been teaching me patience. It has been teaching me humility. It has been reminding me that strength isn't measured by what I can do, but by how I respond when I can't do what I once could.
So today, Warrior I feels less like a pose and more like a prayer:
May I stay grounded. May I keep my heart open. May I trust the process. May I meet this season with courage and grace.
That feels like the real practice.

Stephanie Lanham is a beautiful soul with a passion for helping women heal so many parts of themselves. Her sisterhood is an amazing circle you should 100% check out!
The day we stop measuring our worth by our body size is the day we realize our bodies were never meant to be our résumé.
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned that our body was evidence.
Evidence that we were:
Disciplined enough.
Healthy enough.
Good enough.
Successful enough.
Worthy enough.
So when our bodies change, or refuse to change, we often lose hope or quick to give up.
We abandon the walks, stop cooking nourishing meals, quit drinking the water, give up on movement, and forget the little things that help us feel grounded and alive.
Not because those things stopped serving us, no. Simply because they stopped changing our body in the way we hoped. We gave up with all or nothing expectations assuming the size and shape of our bodies was definitive of our wellness.
What if wellness was never supposed to be a punishment or a negotiation?
What if movement was about energy?
What if nourishment was about care?
What if rest was about restoration?
What if health was about creating a life that feels good to live, not simply a body that looks good to others?
Life is meant to be experienced.
To laugh with friends.
To enjoy vacations.
To savor meals.
To move because it feels good.
To take up space.
Your worth has never been determined by your size.
And your hope doesn’t have to depend on whether the scale cooperates.
This month inside Thyme for Her Sisterhood, we’re exploring body image, body trust, self-care, and the stories we’ve been taught to believe about our bodies.
And if you’re not quite ready for that conversation, I created a free guide called Rooted Hope, a gentle invitation to reconnect with yourself and your wellness journey without guilt, shame, or perfection.
🌿 Grab the guide through the link in my bio.
Tomorrow night is our Sisterhood Circle, and I’d love to have you join us.
Because healing was never meant to happen alone.

Sound healing is so much more than singing bowls.
Our Sound Healing Practitioner Training is rooted in a trauma-informed approach that honors safety, choice, and the unique experiences each person brings to the practice. While this training is approved for Yoga Alliance and American Yoga Council continuing education credits, it is not just for yoga teachers.
This training is for anyone who feels called to understand the healing power of sound—whether you want to deepen your personal practice, support your own nervous system regulation, enhance your work with clients, or eventually offer sound healing experiences in your community.
Together, we'll explore multiple frameworks of sound healing, including the science of vibration, nervous system regulation, intentional listening, and the sacred roots of sound within the Bhakti tradition. You'll learn not only how sound can be used as a healing modality, but also how mantra, devotion, and vibration have been used for centuries as pathways to connection, transformation, and self-discovery.
This program combines modern understanding with ancient wisdom, giving you practical tools you can use immediately for yourself and others.
Healing begins with listening—and sometimes the most profound medicine is vibration, presence, and intention.

It's been a minute since I've been in the studio.
It's been a minute since I've posted.
Between work, travel, and some unexpected health challenges, I've had to step back from movement in ways that have been difficult to accept. As someone who has always turned to movement to process, heal, and connect, that hasn't been easy.
But yoga keeps reminding me that it was never just about the poses.
The Yoga Sutras teach us about abhyasa (steady practice) and vairagya (letting go of attachment). Right now, my practice looks less like flowing on a mat and more like practicing patience, humility, acceptance, and trust.
I'm learning to honor my body's limitations without making them my identity. I'm focusing on nourishment, rest, and healing so that when it's time to move again, I'll be ready.
Sometimes the deepest yoga isn't found in what we can do—it's found in how we respond when we can't.
For now, I'm letting the teachings teach me.
