The Mid-Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force is a smaller, regional branch of the state-wide Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force, which was founded in 2007 by Jane White at the Michigan State University School of Criminal Justice. Our task force is made up of social service agencies, law enforcement, religious-based groups, and community activists dedicated to preventing human trafficking in Mid-Michigan and the surrounding communities

Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial s*x act. Every year, millions of adults and children are trafficked worldwide. It is a crime that happens in every community and we need to be equipped with accurate information about it if we are to combat it!
