One of the most common questions we get: "How much time does it take?" About 6-15 hours a month, woven into your life at your own pace. Can you find 6 hours this month? cancouncil.org/casa

These are the faces of the women on the frontlines of keeping our children safe. They are the warm, welcoming smiles greeting children, listening to their stories, guiding them through medical exams, and advocating for their wellbeing. They are a true gift to our community — and what a gift it is to see them together again, united in this work. Thank you, friends, for all that you do. 💙

Mid-Michigan victim service providers are together again! Today and tomorrow staff members from MFE, CAN Council, Child and Family Services of Saginaw, Saginaw Township Police Department, Michigan State Police, Shelterhouse of Midland, The SafeCenter of Shiawassee County are attending the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) Summit in Lansing, MI.

Collaboration and partnerships amongst these organizations is what makes our communities safer and services easier to access for victims of violence. We ❤️ our community partners!
