We are - This was a special one with several firsts. The most unique aspect of this purchase was that I didn't meet my clients until 8 days into their transaction at the inspections. They blindly trusted me (while I was in Boise) to negotiate the purchase of the home that would bring them closer to their grandkids and I am unbelievably honored and grateful for that. When we did finally meet, I was greeted with smiles and we hung out for hours talking with an effortless cadence to the conversation. The evening I gave them the keys to their new home, I got to meet their grandkids and witness the joy this purchase would bring to their lives. It was a palpable reminder of why I love doing what I do and why I dedicate so much effort into continuing to improve in my profession. Thank you for that reminder. I'm so grateful for the lifelong connections this career brings me.

I've been preparing for the changes in my industry since May, and I thought it would be a good idea to get my Accredited Buyer's Representative designation. The course was informative, and while much of it was a refresh, some of the material covered will most certainly make me a stronger Realtor moving forward in this changing landscape of real estate.

Some people think these types of designations are a waste of time, and they most certainly can be, but for me, they're an investment in myself and my clients. If you have any questions about the rule change that went into effect on August 17th, please don't hesitate to reach out.
