hundreds of hours of work per piece. It was beautiful work but at the time people just weren’t spending much money for expensive art. With some research I found that people where drawn to unique or custom made animals. I changed the focus of my shop to animal sculpture. Being a huge animal lover it was an easy transition. The first piece I made was modeled after my beloved black cat, Lu. He sold quickly and I began to receive more and more requests for different animals. I have since extended my shop to holiday items, and functional household decorative pieces. Most of them are animal focused. In the future I want to open another shop featuring my abstract sculpture, work my both shops full time and travel teaching art and craft workshops.
