Prevent Connect
The goal of PreventConnect is to advance the primary prevention of sexual assault and domestic violence by fostering an online community of practice among people engaged in prevention efforts through-out the United States and around the world. The tools we use to engage that community include our online resource center, a wiki, a blog, social media channels, an online learning, an email list, and web conferences.

The PreventConnect team talks Health Equity coast to coast. Very demure. Very mindful. ✨
Last week Janaé and Ashleigh split up to talk about Health Equity and Community Engagement at two separate events! While Janaé was guest presenting at a Statewide Conference, Ashleigh joined national partners NSVRC and AIR in Atlanta at CDC’s RPE meeting for state sexual assault coalitions and state public health departments.
Didn’t get to make our in-person events? We’ve got a full roster of Health Equity content at PreventConnect.org, through the link in our bio!

Do you want to have a say in the national direction of violence prevention?
Join PreventConnect and White House, government representatives and advocates for a listening session on the National Plan to End Gender-Based Violence.
In 2023, the White House released the first ever US National Plan to End Gender Based Violence, where government officials identified prevention as the first of seven essential pillars necessary to address the social problem of gender-based violence.
This session will offer attendees a chance to share insights about prevention and provide recommendations on future actions to advance prevention efforts on a national level.
Registration is open now at PreventConnect.org. Space is limited so reserve your spot before it fills up!
