Sunshine Support Foundation (SSF) was founded as a form of aid for the outstanding needs of abused, neglected and commodified animals around the world. Our grants are open to all countries and all species of animals. All funds given shall go directly to the care of such animals.

World Day for Farmed Animals is October 2nd, chosen because it is Gandhi's birthday. Throughout his life, Gandhi undertook nearly 20 fasts as political and social protest.
Most farmed animals are starved for hours, even days, as they are being transported to slaughter. In remembrance and solidarity with their tremendous suffering, we invite you to join activists across the world in a Fast Against Slaughter on October 2nd.
