Natalie first came to Atria Forest Hills for respite while recovering from an injury, and she has now been living there for eight years!

"I came here on a temporary basis," Natalie shares. "My son wanted me to try it out, but I knew right away that this would be my forever home." She adds, "I have everything I need here. The staff is great, and there's so much to do."

We're so glad Natalie chose to stay and make Forest Hills her home..

Alois, our beloved bear and ambassador for Alzheimer’s awareness, had quite the busy first day! 🐻💜

He started his morning by joining residents for an engaging lecture on the rise of the Roman Empire, then made his way to the gym where he not only cheered on our residents—but joined in on the exercises himself!

From learning about ancient history to staying active and making new friends, Alois packed a lot into his first day. We have to say, he’s already proving to be quite the social butterfly and a favorite around the community. We can’t wait to see where his next adventure takes him! ✨

Last night, we had the pleasure of welcoming guest speaker Jay Brustman, an esteemed attorney and captivating presenter, for his fascinating program "I Oughta Be in Pictures." 🎬✨

Residents were captivated as Jay shared incredible stories from his experiences meeting and working alongside notable figures from the worlds of entertainment, sports, and politics. From encounters with New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson and NBA legend Amar’e Stoudemire to memorable moments with President Bill Clinton and Secretary Hillary Clinton, Jay's stories provided a unique behind-the-scenes look at some remarkable people and events.

His engaging presentation sparked great conversation, laughter, and plenty of memories. Thank you, Jay, for an unforgettable evening and for bringing these amazing stories to Atria Rye Brook! ⭐📸

Howie reminds us that joy is meant to be shared. At Atria Park of Lynbrook he’s known for bringing smiles to fellow residents through singing, dancing and his unforgettable sense of humor.

As Howie likes to say, “My sister got the lessons, but I got the talent.” 💃🎶

Delicious food, celebrity judges and stellar emcees made our community cook-offs a huge success! Our Chef Showdown Social Series event was a tasty one as taco recipes from our chefs went head-to-head with recipes from local fire chiefs and first responders.

And the good news? Everyone's a winner when tacos are involved!
