Today, Saturday June 27th at approximately 1:45PM. The engine company responded on the third alarm coverage assignment in Wood Ridge while they operated at a building fire in their jurisdiction. Engine 4 stood by for almost two hours with other companies from the fifth battalion.

This morning, June 24th at approximately 01:45 hours, the Engine company responded to a reported hazmat incident with illness in a multiple dwelling. Bergen County Hazmat was requested to the scene for further investigation. Companies operated and supported BC Hazmat with decontamination.

Yesterday, June 16th. The engine company stood by as part of a Task Force assignment covering a FIFA soccer game at MetLife Stadium. 56 Engine 4 staged with companies from Wood Ridge, Oakland, Garfield, Glen Rock, and Lyndhurst πŸ”₯

Today, Friday May 8th the engine company responded mutual aid on the second alarm assignment into Carlstadt for a fire in a commercial warehouse. Engine 4 operated on scene for just over an hour before returning to service. Third fire in just over a week for the Engine Company.

May 3rd, 2026 β€’ The Engine Company responded into the town of Belleville with a Task Force assignment from the 5th battalion. Engine 4 operated within a relay water supply, feeding multiple master stream for 12 hours. Members operated two shifts and returned to town at approximately 05:00 the next day. Great work by all departments involved.
