Vazquez realized the lack of support within the community and decided to open up
her own organization with the purpose of providing services to members of the
community. Vazquez comes from a large family of eight and has lived in the
Southshore community the majority of her life. She has always wanted to be a

Community Grace Initiative, Inc. is an organization that is geared towards helping the community enrich their lives and potential by offering much needed services. This organization was founded in 2012 by Michelle Garcia- Vazquez. The organization encompasses four main elements: religious, social/emotional, professional, and educational.
