Move with purpose. Build community.
Explosiveness isn’t built from one exercise.
It’s developed through how force is produced, how fast it’s applied, and how well it transfers.
Train at higher speeds.
Strength → Speed.
That’s how explosive output improves.

Most athletes aren’t undertrained.
They’re developed out of sequence.
I see it all the time:
Athletes being given drills and exercises
they haven’t built the foundation to earn yet.
→ Poor movement skill
→ Limited body control
→ Low tissue capacity
And eventually…
→ Plateau
→ Breakdown
→ Injury
—
And here’s the part most people miss:
Development isn’t random.
It’s sequential.
What you build early determines:
how well an athlete adapts,
how long they stay healthy,
and how much they can actually improve over time.
—
Speed. Strength. Power. Conditioning — all of it matters.
But only if it’s built on the right foundation.
Skip steps early,
and you don’t get ahead…
You just create problems you’ll have to fix later.
—
If you want to understand what your training should actually be built on right now—
DM me “DEVELOPMENT”
and I’ll help you map it out.

Most athletes don’t plateau because they’ve reached a ceiling.
They plateau because the training never truly adjusts to what’s being shown.
Strength. Power. Speed. Capacity.
All of them are always being trained.
The difference is in how those qualities show up,
and how training is adjusted based on what’s actually limiting the athlete.
What the data is showing.
What the movement is telling you.
What’s driving performance — or holding it back.
Anyone can run a program.
But knowing when to shift it, how to refine it, and what to emphasize next…
That’s coaching.
Presence. Purpose. Pursue.
This Week at RP.
No shortcuts. No random work.
Just structured training and athletes committed to the process.
Development isn’t built in a single moment.
It’s built through the accumulation of disciplined work.
Presence. Purpose. Pursue.

Development in sport rarely looks dramatic.
Most of the time, it looks like consistent
work inside the right environment.
Coaching.
Structure.
Intent.
That’s the process.

Real development takes time.
It’s built through structure, progression, and attention to detail.
When families commit to the process,
the results follow.
That’s how real development happens.
