My Bread Basket

g I will cherish and remember fondly for as long as I live. With eyes that looked through me and into the memories of their youth, I had the pleasure of receiving, unbeknownst to them, much more than the meager offerings of my cooking, baking and care-giving. Somebody willing to listen. I also learned that in our area, of all the senior citizens in need, only 15% of them are being served by Meals on Wheels. The rest go without. I have decided that through my baking and cooking, I can help out a few more. They are our lives' story, they are the reason we are here. It is not right that too many are not having the most basic of needs met - to eat enough to stay alive. That is why My Bread Basket got started, to help those that held our hands and picked us up when we fell as children. It is the right thing to do. They deserve our respect and our love for all they have done for us. I hope you will agree. Exodus 20:12
