We proudly celebrate Shanchuiphy Keishing—the first from our tribe to receive the prestigious James McKinney Outstanding Performer Award, presented by Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas, on April 15, 2026, in recognition of exceptional academic achievement. This honor is not hers alone; it is a shared pride for all of us.
Shanchuiphy, your dedication, discipline, and pursuit of excellence have set a remarkable standard and opened new paths for others to follow. You have made us immensely proud.
On a personal note, I am especially grateful to have been your first music teacher. Witnessing your journey and seeing you reach such heights is truly rewarding.
