“As a streetwise Boston native, devoted wife, working mother of two, storyteller and stand-up comic, Laura Severse brings her hard-working, heartfelt approach to life to stages across the country. Laura finds the humor in everything from climbing the corporate ladder to the trials and tribulations of raising two young children in the heart of a changing city in the midst of a changing world. Audiences have no choice but to be swept up in the joy, pathos and sheet excitement of a city kid who's seen it all and can't wait for more. Laura's attitude is equal parts bold, brash, kind, and gentle, but always gut-wrenchingly funny. She is a true Bostonian with a killer accent and her comedy reflects her true nature: honest and hilarious.

Laura performs regularly at Nick’s Comedy Stop, Laugh Boston and The Comedy Scene. She has featured for Erik Griffin, Tim Dillon, and Big Jay Oakerson at Laugh Boston. She was recently profiled in Dig Weekly magazine, has participated in Thunderfest Comedy Festival, the Boston Comedy Festival Showcase, New York/Boston Comedy Chicks Showcase for CinderBlock Comedy Festival, and the Women in Comedy Festival. She also starred in a Tres Gatos film called Justice for Alma, which was chosen as a Just for Laughs film short selection. She has performs all over the country and has become a staple of New England comedy.

‘Kathe Farris is a Boston-based stay-at-home mom, stand-up comedian, and snack cake enthusiast. She hit the comedy scene a little late in life but quickly made up for it by becoming a Comic-in-Residence at The Comedy Studio and a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival. She is a fixture on local stages all over New England thanks to her intelligent yet accessible material. Kathe performs regularly for private and corporate events and sometimes a suburban middle school...sometimes!. Known for her understated demeanor and punchline-heavy writing, her act impresses audiences across the country. Kathe’s weekly show Farris and Friends Comedy Hour is a “The Boston Globe’s Critics Choice.’
