Roseville RPA

Today, Records Clerk Carter Christiansen retired after 18 years of service with the Roseville Police Department.

Carter spent most of his years with RPD working as a Correctional Officer and eventually Correctional Supervisor. Carter was the last person to manage the Roseville Police Department Jail. The RPD Jail closed in 2015 and Supervisor Christiansen wanted to continue his career with RPD so he was reassigned to the Records Unit.

Carter was a valued member of the RPD team and brought a diverse background of experience that he utilized every day on the job. He was a pleasure to work with and always brought a positive attitude to his assignments.

As we build relationships with the community we welcome open discussions on law enforcement procedures and our policies. We gladly take part in positive conversations with the hopes that we can learn from each other. Any comments that try to instigate or call for violence against any group will be taken down.

Congratulations to our RPA member of the quarter, Melisa Ingram. She was chosen because she has done a tremendous job organizing our Citizens Academies, a great resource to our volunteers all while having a smile on her face. She was a valuable resource to the Community Outreach position and continues to be a valuable resource and a wealth of knowledge. Melisa is currently assigned to our Records Division but previously was working out of class as the Community Outreach Analyst where she was responsible for all of the Police Departments community events which include Neighborhood Watch meetings, National Night Out and Citizens Academies. Melisa also serves as the Secretary on our Executive Association board. Congratulations to Melisa for a job well done, you are very much appreciated!

Our members and staff adopted 2 families in need this year. This is what was donated! I think these families will have a very nice Christmas!!
