We are seeking compassionate, punctual, polite, and responsible individuals to provide transportation with utmost safety and security for wheelchair users. An ideal candidate will be responsible for driving, with an attitude towards customer care.

Passenger driving experience in the field of local taxi, NEMT (Non Emergency Medical Transportation) or wheelchair van desirable.

Possess a valid California Driver’s license and provide a current (K4) five year DMV printout.

No more than one moving violation or one “at fault” accident within the past three years.

Pass a mandatory fingerprint-level criminal background, pre employment drug and alcohol screening.

Drivers must not have been convicted of any felony crime and/or misdemeanor in the last seven (7) years related to; Fraud, theft, embezzlement, breach of fiduciary responsibility, or other financial misconduct; elder abuse; patient abuse in connection with the delivery of a health care item or service; unlawful manufacture, distribution, prescription, or dispensing of a controlled substance; and any felony or misdemeanor conviction for child abuse, elderly abuse, domestic violence, criminal sexual conduct, drugs or weapons.

Flexible work hours is desirable.
Additional hrs possible based on availability for on-call service beyond regular hours or on Weekends.

Provide expertise, support and supervision when transporting clients and utilize company vehicles in a safe and professional manner.

Maintain a professional, positive image and attitude with regard to clients and people at work place is required.

Supervise and enforce completion of daily vehicle pre-trip and post trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Take training on CPR, blood spill cleanup procedure, and First Aid certification.
Attend training on passenger Service and Safety Course Certification (CTAA) within three months of employment.
Need to participate in EPN (Employer Pull Notification Program) from DMV.
