Last night wasn’t anything extravagant… just us.

We worked side by side, cleaning up the yard, laughing, helping each other, and for the first time in a while… it truly felt like a partnership again.

We went to dinner, took a walk, got lost trying to find a good ocean spot to see the water, and ended the night just enjoying each other’s presence.

And today, even with work ahead of him, he drove me two hours so I can get my wisdom tooth surgery and to comfort me took me to enjoying a little fishing.

It’s not always perfect. We’ve been through a lot.
But this kind of love… the kind that shows up, helps, tries, and stays…

It’s worth it. 💜
