As we near the end of our inaugural Sundrop Explorers Academy year, we are so proud and grateful to celebrate our incredible students at our end of year art show, showcasing the beautiful work they created through art, creative writing, and music. It has been such a joy watching their creativity, confidence, and expression flourish throughout the year.

A huge thank you to Ms. Jackie and Mr. B for sharing their gifts, knowledge, and heart with our students this year. Watching these young explorers grow in confidence, expression, and imagination has been such a joy.

Enrollment is open for Forest Fridays (aka Friday Homeschool Program) Winter Session! We are welcoming 6-12 year olds for a full day of forest exploration and study, arts and sciences, project based learning and play at Gahagan Nature Preserve. The program runs 11 weeks, starting January 8th, on Fridays from 8:30am to 3:00pm. ✨ Practical Life in Action ✨
The past two weeks in our classroom have been filled with purposeful work! Practical Life activities are at the heart of the Montessori environment, helping children build independence, confidence, and care for themselves and their surroundings.
From pouring, sweeping, and polishing to preparing food together, our students have been busy exploring real, meaningful tasks. Cooking has been a special highlight—measuring, mixing, and tasting their creations brings so much joy and pride, while also strengthening fine motor skills and concentration.
We love seeing the children take ownership of their work and find joy in contributing to the classroom community. 💛
