It is National Zoo Lover's Day & Time for a chance to WIN!

Last Night, we gave you a few zoo links for just this special day to go out and visit a zoo or animal park near you! Then we thought, what if folks can't get to a zoo today? Hmmm, 💡Let's do a contest! 🤩

CONTEST TIME! Let's do a coloring contest...for the kids! We posted pictures of animals on our post last night and have posted them here again today. Use one of these images as your contest entry! Submit your coloring page entry to us by liking, sharing this post and putting your child's work of art as a comment on this post! We will accept one entry per child, per household. We are doing this for the 10 and under crowd! Our winners will receive their very own masterpiece on a shirt or tumbler and a $10 amazon Gift Card for the winning artist too! Age groups will be 3 & under, 4-6 years, & 7-10 years! We are also going to offer a 25% off coupon for all of entry's we receive. That means everyone has the opportunity to still get their artwork on a shirt or tumbler at a discounted price!

Now the boring stuff... rules & fine print; Super simple! All artwork must be submitted by liking, sharing, & commenting the entry on this post by midnight EST on Friday, April 15, 2022. We will take all entries and ask for public voting to take place for each age group so, share, share, share! Voting will run from Saturday, 04/16/2022 through 12:00AM EST on Saturday, April 23, 2022. The winners will be notified via FB messenger and announced on our page on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 6:30PM EST. All 25% coupons for entries will be sent via FB messenger after the winners are notified and announced.

Happy Pi Day!

Here's a little background on how this day came to be!

The value of pi was first calculated by Archimedes of Syracuse (287–212 BC), one of the greatest mathematicians of the ancient world.
It was first baptized with the Greek letter as its name when William Oughtred called it as such in his works dating back to 1647, later embraced by the scientific community when Leonhard Euler used the symbol in 1737.
But how did Pi Day end up in a country-wide phenomenon? For that, we need to travel to the Exploratorium in 1988 San Francisco, where it was thought up by physicist Larry Shaw.
Shaw linked March 14 with the first digits of pi (3.14) in order to organize a special day to bond the Exploratorium staff together, where he offered fruit pies and tea to everyone starting at 1:59 pm, the following three digits of the value.
Pi Day became an annual Exploratorium tradition that still goes on today, and it didn’t take long for the idea to grow exponentially, hitting a peak on March 12, 2009, when the U.S Congress declared it a national holiday.
