I was honored today to be at the governor’s residence for a celebration of the first day of Pride Month. Not only was Governor Whitmer a gracious host, but I also had the opportunity to network with different LGBTQ organizations around the state. I am proud to be part of such an amazing community and welcoming state! I also feel very humbled as I never thought I would find myself in a position to be at the governor’s mansion. I believe I represented the LGBTQ faith community well and tonight I give thanks. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈
