Last week, Tina traveled to Omaha, Nebraska, to attend the National Symposium for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
This annual gathering brings together Exchange Parent Aide staff and community leaders from across the country to learn from expert speakers, share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and explore new ways to support children and families.
We’re thankful for the scholarship from the National Exchange Club that allowed us to invest in ongoing learning and professional development so we can bring fresh ideas, best practices, and stronger resources back to the families we serve here at home. Thank you, Tina, for representing the Family Resource Center and our community!

Our office can get really quiet toward the end of the week, and that’s a good thing! Because the most important work doesn’t happen behind a desk—it happens around a kitchen table, on a living room floor, or wherever a family needs someone in their corner. Through weekly home visits, our Parent Aides provide parenting education, encouragement, practical support, and connections to community resources.
