It was open for the Golden Age of drive-ins when the number of drive-in screens in the United States hit a peak of 4,063 in 1958. Today, there are 635 screens at 401 sites across the country still operating. Conrad and Linda Zurich, the current owners, bought the drive-in in 1979. They have been in the business since 1966 and currently operate 52 screens in 9 locations including another twin drive
