Friday Backpack Program - Rolla MO

When you bought a lemonade during The Take Stand event in July, your money went to a collective pot, which was then earmarked for nonprofits who wrote grants to receive those funds, by proving that their nonprofit helps lessen child abuse.
The Friday Backpack Program is once again a recipient of a grant through PCCAN (Phelps County Child Advocacy Network).

OMCC is collecting donations for the Friday Backpack Program now through October 25th.
Bring child-friendly, easy-to-cook food items and help keep local kids nourished over the weekend!

Donations can be placed in the box near the bulletin board at the club.

We are always so blessed when children get involved with our program. Last month Ridgeview Christian Church held a VBS and the group of children picked the Friday Backpack Program to support. This meant that they brought in food items to donate to the program - and boy did they bring a lot of food! We're so blessed to be in this community.
