The winners of the Challenge will be hosted by OBS at the International Blues Challenge on Beale Street in Memphis, TN, in January of 2024. Our Challenge is at the Meteor Guitar Gallery in Bentonville, Ark., on Oct. 14th!

“New J” isn’t exactly new; remaining members of the early 90’s Rogers’ AR group “Blue J” (1991 winners of local NWA blues challenge when the road to Memphis went thru Little Rock) have joined forces once again. Exciting and fresh, “New J” is a contemporary blues group with roots that span multiple decades, genres, and artists. Collectively this group touts over a century worth of performing and recording experience poured into a show-band format guaranteed to get your toes a tappin’ and put a smile on your face (and ears)!
