Still Poetry aims to create an artistic platform that cultivates peace, love and expression. We strive to showcase the relevance and potency of the art through poetic appreciation. Crystal Lewis (President & Founder), Navod McNeil (VP & Co-founder) and Trey Cooper (Secretary) established the organization in 2014. We welcome all poets, emcees, and lyricists to join us in bringing forth the word.
Today's writing prompt: Write a poem about one or all of the four seasons. (Some ideas for brainstorming: What does the season look, feel, smell like? What memories do you associate with that season?).

Come join us for our African-American Read-in. We encourage everyone to bring literature from their favorite African-American writer. Literature can range from excerpts from books, poetry, essays, or song lyrics. All readings will be follow by a discussion. Each one, teach one.
