Attention Customers and Clients of Rocklin Coin Shop:

As we're sure you know, there has been an executive order in the state of California (N-33-20) mandating people remain home and only leave their homes unless needed to maintain continuity of operations of the federal critical infrastructure sectors.

Within these critical infrastructures, Financial Institutions may remain open and you may leave your home to transact business with those businesses, if necessary. Under the definitions put forth by the CISA, and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), as well as being regulated by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), and subject to regulatory compliance required by other financial institutions, Rocklin Coin Shop currently meets the requirements to remain open.

However, the safety of ourselves and our customers is always of paramount importance. We also have every intention of complying with any current restrictions brought on by this state of emrgency. As such, we will be implementing the following procedures during the shelter-in-place directive:

1) If you need to buy or sell precious metals, PLEASE CALL US FIRST! We can likely get you locked in, and receive/send payment without you ever having to venture from your home. Please call the shop at (916) 315-0888, or e-mail [email protected] and we will respond to your request as soon as possible.

2) Customers who MUST come in, will be limited to single entry. This includes friends and family members. In the event of multiple customers visiting at once, we ask that you text us upon your arrival, and we will text you when it is your turn to enter. Sometime next week, we will have a standard "Take-A-Number" system in place should transaction volume necessitate. Please remain in your vehicle while you are waiting for clearance to enter, and do not congregate with other waiting customers outside the shop. This could create a red flag, and affect our ability to remain open.

3) While transacting business inside the shop, customers will be asked to minimize touching surfaces or inventory unless absolutely necessary to conduct their transaction.

4) Sadly, our "Kids Take a Free Coin" treasure chest will be closed, as it is a high contact area. We will arrange for other free goodies for children that require no communal handling.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us or e-mail us. These measures are meant to keep us in a position where we can continue to help our customers, especially those who may require supplemental income while waiting to return to work, but also making every effort to not spread the virus, so that life can return to normal as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT: IF WE ARE ASKED TO CLOSE IN-STORE OPERATIONS BY LOCAL, STATE, OR FEDERAL AUTHORITIES, WE WILL COMPLY. In the event that such measures become necessary, we have a Business Continuity Plan in place that will allow us to effectively (if only a little more slowly) service many of our customers' needs.

As always, thank you for your continued patronage.

Good morning! This is to notify our customers that last night our shop was broken into. Although, we have been left with quite a mess to clean up, we are still open for business. It will probably take a few days for me to replenish our counter stock but we are still able to buy/sell precious metals, coins, etc. No customer orders were affected by this. If you know anything at all about this crime, please call Rocklin PD at 916-625-5400. In the meantime, please keep us and our families in your prayers! God Bless!
