With the bitter cold, our crews will be out doing what they can to help improve road conditions due to blowing snow, but salt isn't going to be effective to clean up the ice. If you are traveling today, please allow plenty of time to get where you're going.

A strong winter storm will impact the region late Friday through Sunday with mixed precipitation Friday night-Saturday morning, changing over to all snow during the day on Saturday. Additional details on this storm will be posted later today.
