Loud and clear, with zero debate. The ONLY way to lose weight is to run a caloric deficit. If you burn more calories in a day than you consume, you WILL lose weight, it’s just MATH. It’s not a question, it’s a fact. In my experience the most sustainable diet is the most successful diet. A diet where you can maintain a caloric deficit for an extended period of time without messing up. In my experience the most sustainable diet is a BALANCED diet with proteins, carbohydrates and fats. You will not be able to maintain a carb free diet long term, nor is it healthy for you. Balance your diet with proteins, carbohydrates and fats and run an extended caloric deficit to lose weight, PERIOD. Teaching people how to flexible diet is really the key, that way you can still be a relatively normal human being, eat the things you enjoy and still maintain an extended caloric deficit!
