Had a fun family weekend camping, riding and racing at High Voltage Hills Mx with some swimming at Lyons falls waterfall.
Couldn't figure out the metal starting pads so 💩 starts all weekend and couldnt put together a solid moto with bad starts, a few bad line choices, one tip over and stalling oit in some deep sand. Positives: riding was good probly best yet and starts are improving, top speed on straights is increasing and roll speed is already good and getting better.

First trophy in the 65cc class. Got a terrible atartvin the 1st moto and worked from dead last to 3rd place. Moto 2 got a decent start and was running 3rd or 4th untill getting hit in a corner and went down. Took a minute to get the bike picked up and running and then started passing kid after kid and salvage a 4th place over all.

Saturday practice at Utica-Rome

Possibly the last race in the 50cc class as I have decided to focus on moving up to 65cc.
1st moto came out 3rd or 4th on the holeshot and was running strong untill the chain came off allowing 7-8 bikes to pass. With help I was able to get the chain on and started making passes like crazy passing 6 or 7 kids in one lap. I was gaining on another group of kids and while making a pass the bike locked up causing a dnf. I wasnt going to race the second moto but since the bike was fixed I decided to at least ride and have fun. 2nd moto had a good start but didnt push for the front since any chance of a podium was gone due to not finishing the first moto.

2nd race on the 65cc over the weekend at Area51. Got a perfect start in moto one and had a few bike lengths on the field but forgot to shift and ended pretty much last on the first turn. Past a few bikes and ended up in 4th place. Second moto got a terrible jump off the gate but was able to pass a few riders until the shifter bolt came loose and bike would not downfhift causing bike to stall and then couldnt find neutral to get it started due to broken shifter. Overall ended up in i believe 7th place.
