David Nash

La Crosse poet Paul Kosir passed away last this week. He had an uncanny ability to write honest, whimsical, nature poetry that was as much of a text book as it was art. Before I found out of his passing, two male goldfinches were hanging outside our kitchen window next to an oriole and a red bellied woodpecker. I think Paul had something to do with it.

As it is graduation season, I figured it was a good opportunity to give a nod to Paul and make goldfinch graduation cards for the graduates.
